The West Africa Sustainable Engineering Network for Development (WASEND) is a World Bank-designated African Center of Excellence (ACE) network in engineering education and research.
WASEND is made up of four World Bank-designated African Centres of Excellence (ACEs) in Engineering, namely:
• The College of Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana
• The International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), Burkina Faso
• The University of Science, Engineering, and Technology (USET), Gambia
• The College of Engineering, Université D’Abomey – Calavi (EIE), Benin
WASEND is offering the opportunity for Faculty Members to embark on a 5-day Academic Exchange program at the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), Burkina Faso. The date for exchange is 25th – 29th September, 2023.
